No, this site is not like Feabie. Yes some stories and other content is paid only, and I've noticed (recently) a story limit has been placed, but revenue is necessary to maintain this site. And some of the stories are really well written, so it's a great way for writers to earn a bit for their talents; earning as a creative isn't easy if one doesn't want to go the Tiktok and Gram routes...

I don't feel like a "stranger in a strange land" on FF but very much like an alien on a foreign planet on feabie.

Curvage is another fetish site that has a pay and play element, which is still far BETTER than feabie. Though there are sections of shared content from public accounts, which some may find "icky" it still isn't outwardly abusive, and there are community forums there too, where the engagement is very active and members post content of themselves also.

I haven't looked at feabie for a number of years, but I certainly don't think this site is close to that. Curvage manages to walk the line to a reasonable extent, having the clip store element hasn't destroyed the forums. I do think its important to have spaces which avoid the transactional / OF element because it swamps the signal not just for dating, but for community building. It's not like it's easier to find like minded people in real life than it was in 2003, people these days are just more conditioned to accept loneliness and isolation as a fact of life which is quite sad IMO.

The thing about this community is, one, that normie culture is aggressively hostile towards things we cherish, which is wearing for me, a thin man, let alone for people who are visibly fat, and we need community focused spaces in which to decompress; and two, the desires that people here experience have real tangible risks both medical and moral, and don't fit neatly into a readily available ethical framework that's commonly modelled in normie culture. Dealing with that requires a level of engagement above that of erotic fantasy and there needs to be a place people can have those conversations in public, without getting swamped by gooners.

I'll also say that I like the styling on this site and I don't want it to change.
