I like my own belly shaven—I prefer the way it looks and feels. On other guys I could go either way, it depends what suits the belly (and body) in question.

I’ve been hairy all my life, with hair covering my belly, chest, arms, shoulders, and back. I’ve also put on 250 lbs.

My perception always was that my fat was hard, dense, and firmer than average. I’d looked at other male bodies and preferred the look of hairless bellies - the creamy fat is just so mesmerising.

Last weekend I shaved my back, shoulders, arms, chest, and belly.

The only way to compare it is to take analogy with going to the optometrist after a long time for a new pair of spectacles. When you step out onto the street, your brain is almost overwhelmed by the detail you didn’t get.

That’s how I feel - there is so much *detail* in my fat that I just didn’t get before.

And all of a sudden, my belly is this soft, wobbling ball - my perception of it has totally changed. It feels vulnerable, slightly feminine, utterly decadent, in a way that my hairy ball belly didn’t.

I prefer shaved. I shave mine but honestly barely have any chedt/belly hair anyways

I love the big hairy bears out there, belly hair can look amazing on someone if they maintain good hygiene and whatnot. But it can do the opposite if they’re gross and don’t take care of themselves.

On the other hand, shaven bellies are just as good. A smooth soft belly will always be nice.

I personally don’t have too much belly hair, so I never shave anything. I don’t think I would shave either way unless it does become too high maintenance to maintain, or if I want to see my belly in full with the stretch marks.

I have the hairy gene and have sported a goatee forever. I’ll keep my hairy belly since I’ve gotten used to it so much 👍
