About to close on a new house and I’m looking at getting fat friendly furniture. Does anyone here know where one might acquire some?

To OP - How fat are we talking? This matters.

In any case, I would suggest getting a very good bed and sofa.

Something basic for now, feedie is currently sitting nicely at around 400-ish pounds (give or take). Currently looking at something with a minimum of 800lb load rating just for redundancy.

the best made, most durable furniture i have owned in mennonite-made, solid wood items. i don't know if you have access to that kind of stuff in your area? that is where i got a couch, bed frame and a bench.

my partner and i are >650lbs combined, and it has performed well.

Hubby had to put more boards under our bed last week.

Yeah that’s something that I’ve been doing for a while. Every bed frame I’ve had always ended up having broken slats at some point. Eventually I started just laying down a whole sheet of plywood down over where the slats would be and call it a day. Works phenomenally!
