It’s incredible… I might consider starting an OnlyFans account someday, but I would never show my face. I’d even change my bedroom decor and cover the walls so that anyone who’s ever been to my place wouldn’t recognize the setting. Honestly, I feel like people who are comfortable doing this are either reckless or completely unconcerned about the possibility of an acquaintance stumbling upon their profile. Plus, it can ruin careers: if someone with bad intentions discovers your OnlyFans account, they could block you from landing your dream job; all it takes is for them to show your page to someone, and you could be passed over for certain roles or positions.

The worst part is, I’ve even seen people posting photos of themselves in sexual positions (on Instagram) and then posting photos of family members children, grandparents, parents—on that same account.

Anyway, if these are people who don’t have an issue with it and their loved ones accept it, that’s really cool and totally fine. But you really have to own it; I even saw a gay couple interviewed on TV once they talked about selling their dirty boxers online and how the price went up if there were “stains” or “juices” in them. Seeing that, I couldn’t help but wonder how their families would react if they saw it :sweat_smile:

if you think you're in a position where a potential partner might judge you because of your soft-core online porn presence, well, i don't think hiding your face or changing your decorations are going to be your most significant relationship challenge, tbh...

as for work, i kind of get it. if you are running for member of parliament or city council, or working for a teacher's union, or maybe hope to work your way up in a prestigious corporate law firm, maybe an onlyfans is not a great idea. maybe the best thing is just not to do it.

i'm not well versed on this subject, but i would guess that onlyfans people who don't show their face likely have limited appeal. it would be interesting to see some stats on that. in the weight-gain/feedist space, i can't think of a successful, long-running model/pro who was faceless.

if you're that worried about the potential impacts of this aspect of your personality/preference/fetish/whatever being know by others, it's best to leave it in the closet, i think. clearly for you, there is a significant stigma associated with it. i don't think the people doing onlyfans (or other sites) are reckless, they've just embraced this aspect of their sexuality/lives and are sharing it. they're adults and i assume they've weighed the pros and cons for themselves. and i think it will be refreshing to have someone run for mayor some day who had an onlyfans site back in their 20s!

If youre not prepared for anyone to find out that youre on onlyfans, dont make one
