Forced "chapter" in title?

What's up with the "Chapter _" in front of chapter titles? Just posted a prologue, now reads "Chapter 1 - Prologue" lmao

Forced "chapter" in title?

That’s just a default that gets added automatically. Not everyone adds their own chapter titles or numbers them, so the system puts “Chapter 1” etc. in there for you.

If we removed it, the likelihood is we’d just end up with “blank” chapters, meaning there’d be nothing to click on when people want to use the table of contents. I appreciate in this case it’s a little annoying, but generally it’s the better option to have this than not.

K. I mean, it's your code, it's your site. But my two cents, as a programmer and a writer... I would choose that as neither. If chapters are left blank, then you can auto-title them, I guess. Or just let them be blank.

Thank you for your input as a programmer and writer. I'm sure hiccupx will take it into consideration.

also, is there a way to apply italics? I tried raw pasting, < tags, [ tags, etc.

Forced "chapter" in title?

Story formatting has been requested, but it hasn't been added as of yet. Hiccupx is currently away, so I can't ask directly whether this is still something we plan to implement or not. At the moment, though, formatting can only be used with BBCode in the forums.

Hope this helps,
