I swear by heavy whipping cream. I was a hard gainer, and heavy whipping cream was the only thing that worked for me. I started at 168 pounds and eventually got up to 295 pounds. I have since dropped down to 241 pounds.
Over time, my weight gain would plateau and, if I kept drinking the heavy whipping cream for too long after that, it would eventually start making me nauseous.
The plateau and nausea were very discouraging, and I would eventually take breaks and give up on gaining. To my surprise, my weight eventually dropped back down to around what I started at.
I have been trying to find out why I could tolerate heavy whipping cream at first but would eventually become unable to tolerate it. From what I have read, it looks like you can gain weight so quickly from heavy whipping cream that it overwhelms your body's ability to absorb all the fat. You can literally gain weight faster than your body can create new fat cells.
Once your fat cells are full, your body then starts depositing fat in other areas, such as around your organs. The fat then becomes toxic for your body. I think that may be what happened to me.
I started using heavy whipping cream again last year, and have gained back much of the weight. I'm currently at 241 pounds.
I started using heavy whipping cream again this week. I am going to pace myself a bit better. I am drinking 10 fluid ounces per day, and will increase that next week to a maximum of 20 fluid ounces per day, divided into two servings. I will continue drinking it until I reach a plateau. As soon as I reach the plateau, I will immediately stop drinking it and give my body a month to reset. I will then try drinking the heavy whipping cream again to see if cycling it in this way will let me get past the plateau.
