This is just the beginning. EU and USA are already in the process of lawmaking against NSFW content in any form, WG are in the spotlight more than most other NSFW content. There's a complete economic profit driven market where the tech giants are afraid of lawsuits decreaseing their profits and their lawyers team up with the programmers to make the internet "safe" Also algorithms are programmed to prey on people's insecurity to fit to the thin fabricated mainstream, where the advertisers make their money selling fit related products. There are different scenarios where even Visa and Mastercard might refuse transactions to NSFW content. Adult verification with Id or face is already implemented on YouTube as we speak. From a 30 year perspective the internet is for the first time subject to a massive medieval book burning which is a real threat to the freedom of speech. The ongoing accepted trend where slim is equal to health and happiness affects the social pack behavior to the grey mass of obedient regular mainstream decision makers who don't dare to express their opinion. Research have been made to what sites people navigate and what's searched for. Unsurprisingly full figure women and bbw searches world wide show that's what the biggest chunk of men search for if they're at home alone. Hourglass and curvy is the real trigger for most men, not the slim pillar clothes hanger type (Even if some prefer that too, no offense, taste is very different which is absolutely correct). A directly conflicting irl reality to what they're about to direct us against. I really truly hope I'm wrong about this.

When someone is fat they're seen as fetish material to a lot of people. Its disgusting and inhumane. And because capitalism incentivizes chastity in media, people who are fat are effectively banned from said media landscapes. This also applies to queer people and other minorities, as we are seen as objects in a similar way to many disgusting people, especially the rich, who run the media landscapes.

This isnt the only "reason" why minorities and fat people are being blacklisted from lots of parts in society though.

This is why I’m beginning to spend less and less time on social media. It’s becoming more right-winged by the day and less welcoming to folks like us because to them, we’re outliers who are “normalizing what shouldn’t be normal”… completely ridiculous.
