Through my research I have found that carbs tend to store as soft fat while fats store and form that hard beer belly. I personally like the soft flabby look more and that's what I want to obtain. Not only for the look of it, but also, the hard fat (visceral) is pretty unhealthy as compared to the soft fat (subcutaneous) which can actually even have health benefits. And also, a high fat diet puts one at a greater risk of health problems in comparison to a high carb diet.
