Gaining

Growing fatties at uni

Absolutely! I gained quite a bit of weight during my first 3 years of college - a combination of unlimited meal plan, lots of studying, and no phys-ed classes. I also met several friends from high school (and their significant others) who gained a modest few pounds during college.

I know the senior year finals have certainly had an effect on me. I rely on soda to keep me awake while studying, and it's put on a solid 10 pounds over the past few months.

The last time I had a medical checkup was just after high school graduation. The doctor told me I was "underweight" at 5'11 and 125 pounds and that she, "hoped college would agree with me." Lets just say it has. smiley

Do you think at uni it is easier to fatten up a girl?

It's certainly easier to get fat without really trying: you're in a new set of circumstances, and there's a new range of food to eat. Plus, for some people, the stress puts on weight.
