I see your point too, but there is one difference. Large people is a preference, feeding someone, or gaining yourself is considered a fetish. Some people don't want to flaunt their sexual lives, but may not mind flaunting their SO.

This kind of thing. As stated in the past, it's -not- okay to hide your partner and choice in partner from your family and friends, but it -is- okay to hide your fetish from your family and friends. People into bondage generally don't go waving their whips and leather around for others to see.

As a hybrid fat-positive community/sexual fat & feederism/feedism fetish website, in theory it wouldn't be a problem if only the former aspects of the website were seen, but the latter aspects are also on full display.

"I like fattening people up/getting fatter" <- you can hide this

I agree with what some of the posters mentioned. It's not so much embarrassment of what you like, but the taboo nature of the site.

A majority of FF is just fat-positive rather than just exploring the various nuances and intricacies of the fetish. To qualify the whole thing as a fetish site when there's so much of it that's just fat people existing as fat people is just ridiculous.

No, friends and family don't have to be privy to what I masturbate to, but so much of this site is not that, unless you're sexually aroused by unappealing color themes.

If you claim to be willing to be seen with a fat woman in public but are mortified at the thought of someone possibly seeing that you're on a fat-positive website, you've got some serious cognitive dissonance to work out.

My wife: no. She'd not be surprised in the least, she knows exactly what I'm in to.

My kids: I'm their dad. They don't want/ need to know my sexual preferences now or ever.

Friends / colleagues: not overly bothered. I've never flaunted my FA preference, but never hidden it either. Most people who know me reasonably well know I prefer bigger women.

I look at it like this being with a heavy woman or even gaining weight yourself is more common and mainstream then actually being erotically turned on by feeding someone or intentionally having someone gain for you or yourself intentionally gaining in my book.

Many friends are definitely aware that I like the look of a beautiful larger woman and several of my past girlfriends know that I liked weight gain especially on them as esoecially my wife knows that I love it when she gains weight. But to the exact degree or high weight I am sure they didn't and don't know and I don't feel like I need to tell my close friends "see that sexy woman over there that is 350 Lbs. I think she look's so much hotter than that skinny 120 Lb. model over there.....I just don't think I need to bring stuff up like that".

As far as being erotically excited by watching my wife eat bigger portions and seeing her appetite grow and then dreaming of how Fat she will get (or) dreaming of my wife gaining 100 Lbs. I keep these thing's to myself or like minded people on this board. There is much more commonality for this "speciality" we can call it because I believe that everybody is a specialist on this site with regard to weight gain and have a genuine interest and excitement for it and other sub categories related to it.

So, there is a difference to me between a buddy telling me wow, your wife must have gained 80 Lbs. in the last year........I would tell him yep she look's so hot to me.
But if the same buddy knew I was looking at this site and wanting to feed my wife to get her fatter and I get so turned on by even the thought of that even more than I would want to have sex with a 120 Lb model........I just don't think he would understand.....so I leave it alone!
