I am old! So I have noticed over the years how hard it is not to gain weight. In my twenties and thirties, I got a fair amount of exercise, (still do) and I could eat anything and not gain. As I aged, the pounds started to creep on. Now that I am deliberately gaining, I am nearly forty pounds overweight. I should be around 183 lbs. for my height, but I'm up to 220 lbs. As you age, your metabolism slows down considerably.
