I know of several people from here who have gained over 80 lbs in Four months or less. I don't know if you are capable of this type of gain or not -even without your medical condition. Most folks cannot gain that fast. But let's say you have an 8 month reprieve. If you really went for maximum gaining. Not just eating whatever you want. If you overstuff.Go to Buffets. Snack on Donuts or Honeybuns at 10 and 2:30 in between fattening breakfasts and lunches. And once or twice a week a cake shake.
If you are able to tolerate that kind of eating you could gain at least 15 lbs every two months. A 60 lbs Gain in 8 months. Of course more is possible. Like 80 lbs in 8 months. Just over 2 lbs a week would put you there.
My thought is if you are able to. If you gain 60 to 80 lbs instead of thirty. You would Not lose all the weight. And then when you're in recovery the next time you could gain back thirty and add 50 more. And so on. Until you're so fat that losing 30 lbs will leave you Still Fat.
