Just from what I've seen from other people doing it, usually you use either an actual funnel with a clampable tube attached to it (for when you want to stop the flow), or you use a bag or other container that has a connection point for a tube.
You'd probably also need something to mount the bag/container on so it stays suspended and empties by itself.
