How to add oil to food ? =sick :-[blah

Umm.. So, lately I've been adding whipping cream (lite cream) to my cooking & in coffee. So I thought I had built up enough of a tolerance to it to add it as a main ingredient . I'm lactose intolerant. I made a soup, with equal parts. Cream & cream of Brocoli, low sodium. I usually water down the thick soup to sip it. But this time add the cream ... + coconut oil. (tasted ok.) major major MAJOR stomic pain/cramping. I had put two heaping tablespoons -think mountain spoons. + smashed up an Avacado into it.
I had thought it would lead me to a hot moment. But... I got dreadfully sick instead.

Something obviously went wrong in that plan of action. Just sharing ?? Anyone else have made this sort of miscalculation?
