Nothing makes you fatter than combining carbs with fat. And guess what? Carbs are cheap as hell.
Gluten free pasta tastes identical to regular pasta, I eat it all the time.
Any of those boxed rice (gluten free)/pasta/potato dishes are dirt cheap and you combine them with fats (butter & milk). Just double or triple the butter and you can use heavy cream instead of milk if you like. Easy too.
Pasta. Dirt Cheap. Again carbs combined with fats (olive oil or if Alfredo: heavy cream).
