The one thing I always enjoy most about my gaining is when I notice a change, especially when it's something that really highlights the change and impact of getting fatter. I've gained a lot in the last year or so and recently I've really started to notice it.
A big group of friends recently planned a day out on a short hike - a really simple one that says it's even suitable for families with children. I looked at the route and realised there's no way I could handle it, I'm far too fat to get even a quarter of the way along the trail. And I love that, for some reason.
Also recently I realised that a lot of my clothes have stopped fitting. I work from home and don't head out too much in the week so it seemed to come out of nowhere, but all of a sudden about half of my best clothing was riding up over my belly and two pairs of jeans were far too tight.
I kind of find myself looking forward to more restrictions. I know some people enjoy growing out of clothes but would hate the idea of being less and less able to do things, but for some reason it's the main thing that drives me to keep gaining. Is that a common feeling?
