I haven't noticed a difference, but that's probably due to how I'm gaining weight.
I eat my regular diet, which is generally healthy. I'll have fruit for breakfast, a sensible lunch (~400 or 500 calories), and then some meat and baked vegetables for dinner. Then I add about 5,200 calories worth of heavy whipping cream, spread throughout the day.
I am not lactose intolerant. I have no problem with dairy. On top of that, heavy whipping cream, has zero grams of sugar, and only 1 gram of carbohydrates per serving. As a result, I don't have any problem digesting it. I don't get indigestion, and I have not noticed a difference in flatulence.
When I do fart, it's loud. Long gone are my silent but deadly days. While my farts may be loud, they're not a frequent occurrence. If it's going to happen, it will typically be if I'm on the toilet.
