Gaining

Gaining with keto/low-carb?

During quarantine I upped my sugar and carb intake to try and gain while working from home, however instead of gaining weight I started to feel crappy and I had issues with my blood pressure being really high.
I started doing keto + intermittent fasting/OMAD and I've been doing it for about 2 and a half weeks. I feel much better, but the downside is that I've lost about 10lbs.
I'd really like to gain that weight back and then more after I get my blood pressure under control. Has anyone had experience with gaining without loading up on carbs and sugar? I've read a bunch of becomingoverweight's posts and I'm wondering if anyone has had success with just increasing their fat intake

Gaining with keto/low-carb?

Yes. It is totally possible. I've been keto for about 5 months for other issues besides weight loss. While on vacation for a week I gained back 5 lbs. on accident just by snacking more and eating 3 meals a day again. Whipped cream and peanut butter was my dessert treat and I believe most responsible for the gain. I normally only eat when hungry, but reintroducing snacks and boredom eating, even without carbs, started putting weight back on. I fatten up really easily though so your results may vary!
