Having issues making my story

If that title doesn't make sense, I can explain. Basically, I'm trying to actually make a video game but I have an idea for part of the game where I explore more of who the playable character is as a person, and explore their fat fetishism in the game but that has ran me into some issues.

Since this is a 3D Zelda game (an action adventure that focuses on puzzle solving and some reflex based combat but to a medium degree) I'm not sure there would really be that many people who would both be into fat and into Zelda games, it seems most of the people making fat fetish games make either visual novels or RPG Maker games (sometimes with turn based combat and sometimes without any combat) which leads me to believe that no one would really want to play this game as it just isn't their kind of game.

That lead me to think about targeting people who aren't into fat but yet still somehow keep the fat fetish parts of the game. So there is only one thing to figure out, how do I slip it past them? I've already tried to figure out how to convey the feeling of a fetish story through gameplay (and run into issues on how to make the feeling of being fat or showing the player what represents what) to just make the story more of something told through gameplay while also being told the conventional way simultaneously but this also could help me secretly tell a fetish story that we could be attracted to but they would have no idea, though ultimately I realized how that doesn't work that way.

Making the story be told through the gameplay and through story works fine but slipping it by in code doesn't. So then comes the issue of placing it in the game just as is, and it seems I could but at the same time I can't. Various "normal" games seem to have elements of our fetish which no says anything about (Feeding Lumas in Mario Galaxy, the fat penguin in Super Mario 64, that one scene in Bowser's Inside Story, the Smooth Stone quest in A Link Between Worlds, etc.) so this makes me ask why is it that if we do it suddenly it's wrong but when they do it there's no issue?

So my questions are: Would anyone be interested in playing a fat fetish Zelda game? How do I represent the feeling of being fat in gameplay as well as communicate how these things represent things if I can't just show that? Also, why can't I just make fat fetish part to a game and not cause all the people not into this who would be interested in the game otherwise not get all up in arms about it?

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance?

Having issues making my story

You could maybe have the fat fetish stuff sutitlally to start with, then over time bring more of it in

For example, Maybe have the main character not be comfortable with their body, Maybe they are not fat but just chubby, But as they begin to gain maybe have it that they start to feel for confident or that they shouldn't be ashamed of their body? For gameplay, Maybe have it that with the character getting fatter, they have more defence or whatever? Just a quick thought, hope it helps

Having issues making my story

Well ,that is the story I had planned anyway, they start out skinny and gaining a little weight and being unsatisfied with that but then they really get fat and begin to become more confident about and go all in.

Mechanics wise, the gains actually don't affect the other mechanics (possibly making you a bigger target so instead of increasing defense it decreases it, though also possibly a simulation of them being heavier so now they have more momentum as they run).

Though I'm thinking over making this one level or throughout the whole game. If it's one level then it will be at the beginning of the game and after they've gotten huge they will have to gain the new abilities throughout the game to prove that being fat doesn't hold them back but make them stronger, or later in the game where the fat works as an ability to accomplish the same effect.

If done throughout the game I'm not sure how it will work as this would basically mean that in each level I have to accommodate for their new size, but that makes the game too linear and Zelda is a much more open ended game where the only restrictions you're given are that of you lack a certain ability then you won't be able to progress in that area but you can progress slightly.

For example: in Ocarina of Time you have an item called the Zora Tunic which allows you to breath underwater, before hand you can swim in water but will be forced back up for air very soon after trying to dive into the water and not just swim along the surface but once you get the Zora Tunic then you can swim however long you like and dive without having to go up for air thus meaning you can get access to areas you couldn't get to before.

Though after writing above I though about a better way to phrase my question: What are some examples anyone here has seen of moments in games that made you feel the same feelings that you get from reading fat fetish stories or viewing images or videos?

If I knew the answer to that question then I might be able to figure out more of how this level will be shaped up. So far I've figured out a few things so far like how to represent eating (by collecting coins in a level), to give the feeling of being heavy or being too big to get through spaces (tight movement sections where you have to carefully align yourself to get through obstacles), and even like belching (defeating an enemy) and dialogue (a battle with an enemy and a representation of what the discussion turned argument is about). All I need is this one part of the feeling, the looks part and making it apparent these elements represent these ideas.

The obvious answer to represent the look is by making the model fatter but what if we don't have that option? So how do I make the player feel the sensation of seeing a belly hanging below the waist or having rolls that jiggle with every step? I'm just not sure how to do it other than just showing it but in making a game it would be more beneficial to have the player experience something as opposed to just showing them something.

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I'm also asking it this way to see how other game shave pulled this off too. So my actual question is, what other games has anyone here seen that have a fat fetish moment or at least make you feel the same way?

Thank you, I think we're getting closer to figuring this out.
