Gaining rapidly in a month to stop going back and forth

j8o8h8n:
I have gone back and forth about gaining for a while now and I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about kick-starting a gain with a rapid, one month start to gaining? Like, if I were to give myself 30 days to go all out with trying to gain as quickly as I could, would it maybe get me off the fence instead of continuing to go back and forth not doing anything? The idea of intentionally getting fat and eating with the purpose of getting bigger can be a really big turn on to me, but I still deal with the worries about what other people think. I'm wondering if I intentionally try to gain as much as possible in a month or so will be something that can break the mental block of worrying about what other people think. Like if I gain 20-30 pounds in a month, it'll put me in the overweight category by bmi and at that point I might just be like, "well, I'm already fat now, might as well keep going." Curious to see what other people's thoughts are on this as well as any tips for gaining rapidly for a month?

I'm pretty much doing the exact same thing as you are for similar reasons. I've also went back and forth about it for years. But I keep coming back to wanting to gain more and more each time. The last time I gained intentionally I gained almost 30lbs in a few months. I loved it! My wife loved it! Alas I had some health issues and lost it all and then some. Its really really hard for me to gain. So when I did so well that time I got really excited.
I'm also getting older. At 40 now. So I want to be able to gain now while I still have some youth to me to be able to enjoy it. I also want to avoid any health issues as I get older and heavier. So if I can at least enjoy the next 10 years of life much fatter and even if I lose it around 50 years old I will be happy I went for it. At least thats what I think. Good luck to the both of us! Maybe this time we both will get to the size we want and enjoy it all. Best wishes!
