Feedback and suggestions

Eesh. So. I updated a story that I last updated 4 years ago. A few members made very positive comments. In an act of brazen self-promotion, I messaged them to let them know I’d added some chapters. The content of the message was copied/pasted. Three were delivered fine. The fourth achieved the status of “Your message was flagged as spam”. Drat. Sorry. Does that have implications? Will I be shadowbanned?

Yes we have these measures in place to stop any spammers on the site. Apologies for the inconvenience but it works for the greater good haha. Just like BiteSizr said you can edit the message slightly and resend it. There are no implications for a genuine user who is trying to reach out to followers and friends only those who are abusing the messaging system.

A good thing to do would be to encourage users to follow you as they will recurve an update whenever you add new content to the site whether that is forum posts, new stories or chapters or any other content.
