I want to start eating higher calorie meals, but because of my eating disorder, I am picky and can’t handle foods with a lot of complicated textures and flavors. Sadly, most simple/plain food I know of has very few calories, especially things that are actual meals and not just candy. Lookin up high calorie meals online results in tons of recipes for complex meals that would be completely impossible for me to eat, which is disheartening.
Right now the only meals I have been able to find that have relatively high calories and I can eat them are quinoa with olive oil, and fettucine alfredo. Neither has the caloric punch I want, either, they’re just higher calorie compared to things like toast or a charcuterie or plain biscuits.
Does anyone have good recipes (or know of good prepackaged meals) that have a lot of calories, but also only have one or two simple flavors and textures? They don’t have to be simple to cook, just simple in their taste and texture.
