Gaining

First time with heavy cream

I drink it straight and immediately follow-up with a chaser. I drink juice and that has worked very well for getting rid of the aftertaste. I also eat some pudding. I added the pudding to help bring my daily carb count into the recommended range for me, based on my metabolism.

In the morning, I also eat my breakfast (oatmeal) after drinking the juice.

It turns out the instant oatmeal I've been eating has a high glycemic index. Frosted Flakes has a lower glycemic index than the oatmeal. I'm thinking of buying Frosted Flakes when I run out of oatmeal.

I'm going to experiment a bit by pouring the heavy whipping cream into the Frosted Flakes, and then adding some half & half to make up the volume, if needed.

I hope these ideas help.

First time with heavy cream

Aset213:
Ive actually gone up 2 pounds with heavy cream over the past few days ive gotten past this plateau of 118 currently 120 thx for the help.

Awesome! I'm glad I could help. Here is some additional info. Listen to your body. I was drinking it four times per day, and it was too much. I wound up getting nauseous, and couldn't keep the heavy whipping cream down.

If you start feeling sick, or the fat is not being fully digested, it's a good idea to cut back to an amount your body can handle.

Also, make sure you're consuming at least the recommended daily amount of carbs, based on your estimated metabolic rate. I started doing that this cycle, and wound up gaining more weight during my first week than I expected.
