I recently had the idea to start my own speed dating event. I was sort of disappointed in the events that are here locally in L.A. and would love to collaborate with people to make our own. I feel like plus-sized singles are an untapped market for speed dating. I've also been disappointed with the quality of dating apps that cater to bigger people like myself, specifically WooPlus.
That being said, I'd like to make a positive change and start an event for people in a space that they can feel more comfortable dating in. Hence, I want to start a speed dating event on Zoom (or in person depending on what we agree on), so that plus size people can feel safe and secure expressing themselves and mingling. This idea is straight out of my head, so bear with me please. I think it can be a game changer though.
