Been thinking about this. Here are some of mine. What are yours?
1: I put a snack drawer and a mini fridge right next to my bed, so I don’t even have to get up to eat if I get the urge in the night.
2: Because I want to be.
3: I quit the gym, but not the drive through.
4: When I started gaining, I’d hide milkshakes in my bottle at the gym.
5: From being a runner, I stopped exercising at the end of sophomore year, and started taking the shuttle to class and driving everywhere.
6: Getting busy with school, exercising less, irregular sleep, late night pizza parties and alcohol.
7: Eating in the middle of the night.
8: During my bachelors I had a meal plan with an all-you-can-eat buffet 3x a day. And I'd hide extra treats in my bag for later.
9: When I was thin I thought I had a fast metabolism cause I never gained weight like some of my friends. But it was just because I ate so little and worked out all the time. Seems my body always wanted to be fat.
10: Back home my parents were very health conscious and my diet was very restricted. When I got to college I started to enjoy my food and got a taste for desserts and greasy food. Now I can't get enough.
11. I rarely count daily calories, but I've learnt what foods have the highest when choosing what to eat.
12: I j/k that my belly is made of pancakes, my thighs of milkshakes. But for reals I've eaten and drunk 100s of these since I started gaining ☺️ I now make them at home.
13: Finding this community after I got chubby and being validated for my feelings and desire to be fatter.
14: I'm sitting on my butt studying all day and constantly snacking. My go-to is chips and cream cheese.
15: The more calories I pour into my body, the more weight I gain, the more my body changes, the more turned on I am ☺️☺️☺️ This might be the #1 reason tbh.
