Hello, I don't know how I came up with this, but don't you think that society is educating us a little from a young age to become fat and to normalize fatness? for example fairy tales about weight gain Gingerbread House, Little Red Riding Hood, series where a character gains weight in at least one episode (simpsons, south park, futurama, SpongeBob, as if someone wanted to tell us that gaining weight is not bad and we should go for it 😅, you too so will he come

I question your media literacy.

Fairytales exist in an extremely Christian backdrop. Fatness is depicted as an offshoot of gluttony - a sin. In fact, if you look at the story tales, Gluttony is either punished or an aspect of a morally corrupt character.

The Huntsman kills the Wolf. Hansel and Gretal are punished for eating the witch's house and the witch is punished for fattening Hansel up for the slaughter.

As for the more modern shows, pay attention to the events again. Every time, they show getting fat as a bad thing. It's the butt of the joke. It's a sign a character is at their lowest. It's a springboard for a PSA on healthy eating, disordered eating, and exercise.

I don't doubt that there are sometimes kinksters working on these shows. However, it's more of an influence on a non-sexual aspect of things.

Also, why in the world would you be okay with adults grooming kids sexually via media? I don't think that's happening, but why are you fantasizing about that?

Kids can't consent.

There is no logical connection between the examples you give and the assumption you make, because you structure it from your biased views. For example even if you search up Goebells (as an importand figure of concious propaganda making), his usual technique would be exactly the oposite from being subtle.

One the other hand, passive ideology, which is what cartoons might do, is not conciously designed by soneome and thus cannot have any kind of such clear goal.

Please, keep in mind that even in the things that society is said to be designed to do, it utterly fails to achieve even a single of them.

He never said he fantasized about it.

Read his post again, love.

Feedism and weight gain are highly stigmatized in wider society. He is, in fact, fantasizing about a world in which society is grooming people into certain sexual proclivities over some people just being wired differently.

I think we as feedists tend to project our proclivities outward so some of us see feedism everywhere. When the reality it’s just a common expression of a gluttonous live style, how we handle loss, stress etc at worst and at best they are attempts at humor at the expense of fat people.

It’s kinda like how some people into bdsm project dom/sub dynamics into other aspects of life.

I think as fat people we spit in the face of these tropes, for the most part just as people spit in the face of dom/sub dynamics

When I read his post, the way I interpreted it is that he is just theorizing a possible conspiracy theory, but not showing that he necessarily is fantasizing about it. But that was just my interpretation. I don’t understand the last sentence he wrote, looks like it was a misprint.
My interpretation could be biased, as someone who regularly stays abreast of conspiracy theories

I can understand your line of thinking.

When you are part of a niche group and spend a lot of time around others in the niche group, it's really easy to delude yourself into thinking you're just like everyone else.

Being in community with others that share common interests is good, but it's also good to touch grass from time to time lest you forget.

This isn’t even the first time this idea was proposed on this website. It was proposed 13 years ago apparently lol here:

It's not the first. It won't be the last.

The conclusion is stupid either way. If it was reality, feedism wouldn't be so niche and fat people wouldn't get shit on in general.

There are cultures that prize fatness. The media over there handles the concept very differently than it does over here. In fact, I'd argue it treats fatness the same way most cultures treat thinness.
