Super-sized travel tips?

Are there any super-sized folks out there who have traveled by air, or people who have been a companion to someone very obese? I used to travel much more often when I was in the 300s, but my honeymoon in a few months will be the first time I've flown at my current size, which is over 570 lb.

My fiance and I are planning carefully, including purchasing two seats for me. I have my own seat belt extender, and we requested special assistance. We even bought a bariatric wheelchair he can push me in, since navigating transportation with my scooter isn't a given. Is there anything we might be overlooking?

My girlfriend is over 550lbs and we keep going on holidays though not as often as in the past when she was smaller. We plan well ahead, asking for a bariatric wheelchair which i push because we don’t want to overburden the airport staff. We buy three seats between us and we ask for a seatbelt extender. We also carry her oxygen mask with us just in case because her breathing tends to be more elaborated in higher altitudes and we make sure she wears full compression for her lymphedema otherwise her legs will be extremely swollen and painful. When booking a hotel make sure the bed is reinforced enough to stand your weight and that you can fit in the toilet/ shower. There’s nothing worse as paying for an expensive holiday only to realize that you can’t use the bathroom. Being this big is a bit challenging for my feedee but she still has quality life and a great time, and we will always strive for that no matter how massive she gets

Thanks!! I keep thinking of additional minor details but I think I've covered the big ones. Fortunately I don't use oxygen, so that's not a need.

I also get two seats and I find the checking seat guru on the type of plane with more leg room a good idea, find flights with that model plane.

As my backside has expanded I find I sit more forward in the seat than before, and I have to open my legs more so as not to have my knees pressed into the seat in front. So the premium economy looking better, but more expensive.

The only thing I'm still apprehensive about (and this was true 200 pounds ago too) is not having access to a bathroom. My body won't fit in an airplane bathroom regardless of the plane model, and even if I could squeeze inside, getting up and trying to heave a 570 pound body around an aircraft is much less than ideal. It's about a 3.5 hour flight, so I'll limit fluids and be sure to use the restroom right before boarding.

I would double check with the airline to make sure it's on file that they're ok with a "person of size" flying (IIRC that was an actual term used).

Generally the only issues I've ever heard is the seat size and other passengers, maybe try and get an bulk head seat if you can for extra leg room.

On a side note, airline food is generally bad from my experience, so maybe bring some snacks and/or make sure to eat before flying.

I usually fly private but if commercial, 3 seats is good. Gives enough room. I like my space.

It depends on the body. But when I weighed 650 pounds, I rode on a plane for an hour.
We bought 3 seats, of which 2 were for me.
It didn't fit in two seats.
My seat was in the middle of the plane and to get there I had to strain my butt to avoid getting trapped between the seatbacks.
When I tried to sit down my knees hit the front seat and part of my butt ended up on my husband's seat.
People were looking at me, I was tired and uncomfortable and when we arrived my legs were numb and I couldn't get up.
Everything was horrible from the moment we bought the tickets where they weighed me.
I remember the mocking smiles of the flight attendant who reminded me to lose weight and even said let's try to take off.
