They say a pound is 3500 calories so if you ate an extra 1000 cals per day you'd gain 2lbs in a week which is 100lbs in a year!
If you ate 10,000 calories a day then that would be 20lbs in a week. I expect you'd not achieve that in practice.

However people do gain 10 to 15 pounds in one week and 20 in a month. I don't think it's sustainable at that rate.

Just by adding 500 to 1000 calories per day you'd be a massively obese immobile blob in 10 years from now. That's achievable, you can do that if you desire.

It's not useful at all to do that.

Mind you that it's possible. But you have to train your stomach to handle that much food. Plus, you'd struggle to eat less after the week is over.

On top of that, the weight might not stick. When my partner decided to lose weight after reaching 500 lbs, he lost 100 of those pounds just by eating enough for 2 people rather than eating enough for 5.

I don’t know my regular calorie intake but when I sit down and do the math I probably regularly consume somewhere around 6k I don’t have big sudden changes the generally trend is just upwards

I met my partner when he was 417. He ate about 3-4 kcal a day. This is on top of having weight loss surgery several years ago, getting down to the 200s, before purposefully regaining everything he lost and then some.

thanks everyone.. I can “easily” get 4/5 thousand calories a day (including a shake) I just want to try to get to 10 thousand for a week, to see how much extra weight I gain.. but sometimes I have a week that I don’t get over 2400 calories and get full faster.. do you have any tips for that?

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it overly much. Sometimes your body needs a break from overeating.

That said, you are experiencing weight loss, this is a good time to whip out things like juice, smoothies, and shakes. Nothing super heavy because you won't finish it.

As for the 10K calories thing, I only recommend that for masochists. You will be in near-constant pain during that week. My partner and I are sadomasochistic. This is right up our alley.

But if you don't enjoy near-constant pain? Don't do it. You will regret every choice you made up to this point.

I don’t think the human body is really designed even if you eat a lot a lot to eat that many calories, it’s mostly gonna be waste and it comes out harshly

I mean if you look at our evolution we came up scavenging for food calories we’re not abondent and the most calories you got from animals were large calorie burners you were lucky if you cleared 1000 calories it’s why we have smaller bellies than other animals we don’t graze on grasses

If you want dramatic results follow your appetite and don’t worry about calories, or eat until your full each time you eat
