Christianity and feedism

Hey everyone! 23m nerd here. I've never done one of these before, but I'm looking to talk those who are Christian and are into feedism. Feedism is rare in itself, but being religious AND into feedism is really rare. I'm Catholic, so it would be really nice to talk to Christians who are also into this kind of thing, but other religions are fine too. I really want to make friends in the community who are also like me, because even though I sometimes interact with feedism communities, I sometimes feel lonely because almost nobody is in my situation. Feels like I'm in a niche within a niche. I'm also really into video games, manga/anime, and motorcycles too.

I'd love to hear about your opinions and thoughts about this topic too, so feel free to share! Hopefully I'm not the only who's into this kind of situation ๐Ÿ˜…

Iโ€™m not 100% sure but isnโ€™t gluttony a mortal sin?

You're not wrong, but in my mind it's all about moderation. I don't see a problem with something like a stuffing to be a problem, but I would prioritize a person's health. If you do too much, then your body develops conditions and such, so it's all about a balance in my point of a view. Take wine for example, you take too much and get intoxicated and throw up, but having some of fine.

I also really like the soft feedism aspect of caring/feeding someone too, and I don't think of it as a bad thing.

That's my take on feedism at least

To be fair in the original translation of the Bible gluttony was used to refer to the hoarding of resources and wealth. But in the middle ages the church was controlled by the upper class who were hoarding all the resources and wealth so it was more convenient for them to change the meaning to just "don't be fat lol". But what do I know I'm just a pagan

Iโ€™m not trying to say your wrong but to suggest the priest class was just doing the bidding of the upper class is a bit obtuse but it def existed but there were all sorts of observed fasts and definitely stricter no meat on fridays these were pretty standard as late as the 60s

Definitely. I think the chances of that happening were pretty high back then. I can see where you're coming from, and I'm not disagreeing with you.

I'm Christian. Raised Baptist but identify as nondenominational. I have have red the Bible cover to cover at least 200 times. However, I am disillusioned with the Church due to the rise of Christian Nationalism and being a cult survivor. As such, I practice my faith by doing what I can to leave the world better than I found it as best I can.

In the context of this community, this translates to doing my part to make this community safer. You'll see me explaining medical studies, misinformation, and encouraging safe, ethical feedism. You'll also see me encouraging, uplifting, and getting into it with bigots and creeps.

In the context of my personal life, I put my feedee's health an comfort above everything else. Ironically, after being with me for 3 years, my partner is healthier now than before we met.

I'm so sorry you had to experience that. I agree that not everyone or everything within a church/denomination is good. I have my own beliefs and also don't blindly follow either. You're right, there are some places that are like a cult, and thankfully I didn't experience that.

You're doing a great job by doing good out there and informing others. I find it really wholesome that you and your partner are well and that you found your own set of beliefs and made peace in terms of religion. Thank you for sharing your story.

Religious trauma is a bitch, but I'm healed enough that it has made me a force of nature. Lemme tell ya, the Christian Nationalists hate to see me coming. I have yet to see one that knows the Bible better than I do.

It's also really funny to lay hands on them and pray the "demon of bigotry" out of them. They do not like it when I do that, but I'm not stopping.

But yeah, I've never felt conflict between my love of feedism and my religion. I used to feel conflicted with my sadism kink, but once I figured out my ethics and well as exploring it with my first feedee, I am no longer conflicted.
