So recently I've started to try making shakes to enhance my gain. At the moment I'm eating well throttle day and then topping up I'm the evening with a shake that currently consists of:
Milk as a base
Double cream
About 200+ml of Ben & Jerry's
It's very very delicious, and goes down as easy as a glass of water, and it comes to around 1000 calories in 500/600ml.
I'm not here for short term fantasies of "make it 4000 calories of shakes every day" or any of that, because I know that long term that just isn't realistic and I have no idea what that much dairy would do to my body, so from those who have experience consistently having shakes, can you share your own best approaches and experiences of how much/often/high calorie you can have while making it something you can do often without issue?
I would like to essentially walk the line on the edge of what's reasonably maintainable so I can keep having those bonus calories without stopping.
