Real or fake

Jarl Balgruuf:
What’s the easiest way you guys have been able to weed out the people who come across as real and genuine or fake accounts looking for money?

I don't think there's a clear and easy distinction and it partly depends on what you consider real.

There are a good amount of sex workers who will ask for money or want you to buy content and are completely real, then there are people who will steal their content and try to scam people knowing there are guys willing to spend money on them...

All I can really offer is my perspective as a feedee who has gotten money/meals from feeders online, but isn't a content creator or a scammer:

I personally don't ask for meals personally. I talk with people either in chat or messages on here and on feabie and if a guy offers i don't turn it down. Just have real conversations with people and when you feel comfortable offer... But the thing is you have to be willing to have real conversations about things, not just this fetish. Treat them like a real person if you want real people.

If all you're willing to put in is fetish talk then look to the verified content creators in the community and pay for the privileges of not dealing with all the small talk. Kinda just like if you want sex, but don't want to date someone or treat them normally then you get a prostitute...

I think its best to build a relationship of some sort with someone before sending money. I mean there are no guarantees with anything, but if you're just in it for the money it's hard to justify chatting with someone for very long without the payout, especially if that payout is the equivalent of a meal.

And if you have expectations of something in return it's probably a good idea to communicate that before sending anything.

In my experience, some guys are perfecrly happy just knowing they helped some fat get put on someones body, while others want to see the aftermath of the meal.

Whether it's purely transactional or something more natural and real i think its important to layout all your expectations up front rather than having expectations that go unmet and feeling like times been wasted

All that being said, if you're interested in chatting more feel free to shoot me a private message

as a long-time user here and on a few other sites like feabie, i would say the absolute biggest red flag to me that someone is not genuine is they have an account that is days or hours old.

now, i almost never transact for anything over the internet. i am an old-school feeder/feedee from the days when we met in person and brought the food with us. for me, someone eating alone in a room is just that... eating. but that's just me - whatever makes other people happy is great for them.

i think the short-term accounts, the deleting and re-joining just screams out "ghosting" to me, or worse, they were "banned" and are sneaking back on.

For me its also the short time the account has been active. When i get a message from an account that is only hours old, I usually dont answer.

The next red flag is asking for food or money before there has been much in-depth getting to know each other kind of discussion.

treat everyone on the internet as though they are scammers until they prove they are not, would be my general advice personally- that goes to all aspects of Internet. I get that it’s a bit different if you’re a feeder, you want to be a part of the reason why someone eats a lot - but we (or at least I) can get along just fine without your feeding

Female feeder here. While I don't worry about people demanding money from me to the same degree as my male counterparts (and when it happens, it's only because they thought I was a man), I find taking the time to get to know people really helps weed bad actors out. People who want to use you tend to be impatient.

You could also just not send people money, especially ones you’ve never met. Surprisingly I have actually had people offer to send food, money, boost, etc and I do not accept it. As a result I don’t send other people stuff either.

Be interogative and blunt. If the other person cannot respect your need to make sure they are safe, you shouldn't be around them in any case.

Check descriptions, and if you engage in conversations very easy to tell if someone is a scammer, bot, or fake. Patterns won't add up.
