How did you increase your appetite and portion size.

I am starting my weight gain journey again. I learned a few things that is helping keep on track for a 150 lb gain. I want to ask

What did you to increase your appetite to store and eat more food to help you gain weight. Are you on a routine? Do you go to a lot of gatherings with a lot of foods? The only thing that is helping me is: eating when I'm not hungry, or bored and also eating while watching TV shows or movies.
