I'm in college and the most embaressing this happened to me in one of my classes. The whole room was silent as the teacher was teaching a lesson and the attendance sheet was being passed around for people to sign their names on. I was handed the sign in sheet from my classmate who was very quiet leaving their desk to pass it to me. After I signed it, I went to get up from my rolling chair seat and it sounded like the chair exploded beneath me when I stood up. The teacher paused the class and made a huge scene about it, exclaiming "I thought you fell out of your seat!" I tried to laugh it off and said that they weren't the greatest chairs. The truth is my weight springing off the chair so quickly is what caused it. So embarrassing.
