Fat experiences

Nuts are seriously underrated

I learned that the hard way — when I started eating them regularly, the change was pretty sudden and noticeable.

Just a handful here and there, and it quietly adds up.

They’re packed with good fats, protein, and fiber — real calorie-dense little bombs.

Not magic, just incredibly effective… sometimes a bit too effective.

You are quite correct. Nuts are a great way to gain relatively healthily as long as you avoid too much salt. I gained a lot on a fairly normal diet but with loads of nut snacks added between meals.

I've been repping nuts for ages now. Not only are they healthy, but you can get a lot of them for cheap and get fat.

With that said, mind the sodium intake if you plan on eating a lot of them. And also learn which nuts you have to limit the amount you eat.

Can any of you quantify how many nuts you ate during the day? And what kind do you people prefer to buy, the ones with the shells or the ones toasted and salted? I've wanted to try them for a while but I don't know which kind would be better

Ive been struggling to gain weight with healthy foods for the past 8 months and nuts are one of the easiest and quickest ways to load up on calories in the healthiest way.My only complaint is that my stomach gets sick pretty quickly after just a few handful. If I could eat even more i feel like would be able to break my weight gain stagnation of 8 months.

Macadamia nuts and pecans are the highest calorie dense per 100 grams but almost all of them are pretty calorie dense anyway

Absolutely — moderation and the type of nuts really make a difference. Unsalted or lightly roasted ones seem best long-term.

Interesting, for sure it's very useful to gain fat — when you say some nuts should be limited, what kind of risk are you referring to?

For me, a handful is about 30 grams. I usually go for shelled, unsalted nuts — more convenient and easier to track how much I’m eating
But to be honest you do what you want depending what you like, just do your own tests

That’s a common issue — high-fat foods can slow digestion. You might tolerate them better split across smaller snacks instead of a big serving at once.
