The heavy cream diet works so well!

Heavy cream and half-&-half (its cheaper twin) are best in creamy sauces to stretch the stock to another day. Wifey and I use it in Alfredo and related creamy or cheesy sauces. Add lemon juice to balance the overall taste.

The old Fat Nat's had a good recipe/tip. When you make macaroni and cheese, add an extra stick of butter.
