I may be over 300 pounds but I'm also quite outdoorsy and particularly enjoy camping. I'm decently active in my day to day life as well, I take walks the majority of the days of the week and walking is my primary method of transportation currently. On top of that, I also have a lot of trouble with my appetite, it's hard for me to get all 3 meals in every day. Recently, I've been pushing to gain a bit more, and things have been trending in the right direction, I don't keep track of calories a ton but I believe I'm taking in enough to keep gaining and I certainly feel like I am.
However, as I said I enjoy camping and outdoorsy activities a lot, and I may be going camping soon. If I do, I would like to keep my gain going, but I'm unsure of a good way to do that. I have less trouble eating breakfast lunch and dinner while camping due to the increased activity, but I'd like to get more than that in if possible.
The issue is that whatever I bring to really get a lot of calories in needs to be discrete. I go camping with a good friend of mine who is super chill to me and not weird about me being fat at all (moreso than other people I've known) but I'm not really open about purposefully gaining with anyone. We smoke a lot together and always bring fun snacks and stuff, so I can bring some extra stuff, but if I brought a bunch of ice cream or heavy cream or mass gainer or something like that camping I think that would be a bit weird. If anyone has tips for discretely gaining like that, I'd love to hear it.
Addressing the "in general" in the title, if anyone has any advice on increasing appetite I would really like to hear it. I've always been fat but my appetite has always been lacking, sometimes I try things and it works and I eat more normally but within a week I go back to low appetite and lose all of my progress and momentum. I think the issue is probably deeper than something a life hack could fix but still, any tips help.
