Fat experiences

Largest size at normal stores / reality check

Just curious what everyone’s experience was when they hit the largest size at normal clothing stores?

While I’ve been bumping into things for quite a while and starting to find myself “overflowing chairs”. I consistently thought to myself “I’m not that fat, I have a while before I need to worry about how big I actually am”, but I think this might be irrefutable proof that is not the case anymore. I find myself looking around now and the reality kind of sets in - I am one of the top 4 fattest guys in the room most of the time. I find myself very excited and kind of motivated again to push further now.

Clothing was my reality check, did anyone else have something similar/different?

Yep. A lot of the largest sizes at the store if I’m not shopping plus size or big and tall are too tight and I love it.

Not fitting in normal chairs or spaces turns me on immensely.

One of my friends weighs below 170, he lent me his shorts and a metal chair. My thighs and ass devour the shorts and gives me a wedgie lol , the metal chair left marks on my hips and it creaks so loudly he was scared I would break it plus it bends when I move.

I love outgrowing things built for normal ppl.

The transition from 'normal' sizes to Big and Tall sections of the store wigged me out at first. Didn't seem real. Now, I buy everything via the Internet as most store clothing looks more like tents. And I have to make sure I pack correctly as there won't be anything at stores at my destination that will work.
I've broken a couple chairs, and getting into booths isn't guaranteed. I now check the weight maximums for desk chairs. I fly first class because I usually struggle fitting in coach. And there has been the need for extensions on flights. Every first was uncomfortable, but now, it's just normal.

I’m not quite there yet, but I suspect I’ll have to do what my wife has done in recent years — which is to shop a lot online and just cross fingers that the item runs big and not too small. One brand’s definition of anything bigger than a 2X can be quite different from another brand.
