Yeah, I already saw some of those. I think there are some important words of wisdom among the bunch, but it doesn’t necessarily fit with my situation.
Also, some « self help channel » on YouTube seem to be more harmful than not. I’m thinking about channels which encourage you to think of you as a victim or to reinterpret the situation as to see the other as a person with XYZ psychological trouble. I quickly realized that I needed a balanced look at my situation, and before that I even needed to understand my faults and myself instead of focusing on the other person.
As you said, I acted in a very bad way. It’s not by telling myself that everything is fine that I will improve.
As for therapy, I might as well try with someone else. Often, first contact is free, so maybe I can base myself on my feeling and start anew with a new therapist. This exchange at least made me think about giving it a new shot.
