It's the small things

So I find that whenever I am not seriously paying attention to my gaining is when I lookup and suddenly my closet is less and less amenable to my body size.

I wanted to know if there were any small habits you all had that led to big changes on the scale!

So many feedists think that they need to eat like ... 2 gajillion calories a minute. But, in truth, little changes made over time are usually enough to start filling out.

Definitely true, I used to be tempted to step on the scale every single day to see if I made any progress but I would just annoy myself because my weight was just fluctuating up and down. But then I didn't check the scale basically at all between November and December and I had actually gained close to 12 lbs.

OK, bad choice in husband and compulsive over eating accepted but my guess is that you enjoy the overeating bit as well as being a fat person - love to know if I'm correct here![/quote]

You are correct in a sense I do love my body shape and size to me it feels right.
Compulsive overeating pushed me over the edge from being plus sized to being very fat.
I really didn't plan on being over 400 lbs but because I don't have a fat fetish I didn't watch the scale.
I could tell I was gaining a lot but really didn't care if I did at that point.
Binging and compulsive overeating will cause most people to gain quite a bit.

I guess at 400+ pounds you do qualify for what is often called SSBBW. Many or most of these women acknowledge as being addicted to food. Over eating disorder is perhaps another way of saying the same thing. Anyway, you are clearly not alone in liking the way you look so not all bad!
