Am i starting my path in gaining weight towards an obese person? anyone for advice and talk?

TheUltimate323:
Ok, I understand. I'm 22 years old, I've never been fat, I've always been normal weight, however I've always loved food. Do you think I can reach 400-500lb?

SumoSized:
I mean you definitely can, I'm 20 and my starting point 4 years ago was 125 lbs. Mind you I've only recently been actively gaining, I was more or less passively gaining before. So if youre actively trying you should gain faster than I have but still it's going to take a few years.
Just try to eat a minimum of 3,000 calories a day, more if you can manage and you should be set. Also read dieting tips on here, I've learned a lot from other just reading their stories and learning from their experiences.

TheUltimate323:
Yes, I can definitely do it, and I would love to do it. One of my fantasies is also the irreversibility, becoming obese and knowing that I will always be there. That I will always be an obese person. I suppose I can achieve that too?

And apart from that, how did you deal with your close people seeing your weight change? You know, I have always been of normal weight and making such a strong weight change is something that is going to cause a reaction in those around me.

Keep in mind that I'm from Spain, obesity is not as normalized here as it is in the US. You know, I'm referring to the reaction of people when they see that a person who has always been of normal weight suddenly gains a lot of weight.

Depends. While theres no hiding the weight i just tell ppl that im happy being bigger or that i dont mind being hefty. Not really disclosing the appeal, just that i know im getting fatter and im happy with it.

Everyone will have an opinion about your choices. Most important thing is if you are happy with the gain or not. The gain continues until you get to the weight you feel good with.

And apart from all this, can you lead a normal life being obese? Obviously, with certain limitations, which turn me on a lot.

My partner is 430 with a peak of 500. Unless you were previously an athlete, or an avid roller-coaster rider, you'll live a fairly normal life.

TheUltimate323:
Yes, well, I use the term obesity as a point of weight that goes beyond being overweight. Basically, that's all. Anyway, do you like being fat? Do you enjoy it?

Again, overweight is a metric based on bmi which is hardly conclusive to anything and is constantly shifting its why there’s a “obesity crisis” sure there might be more heavier people today but when you constantly adjust the bmi thresholds for different tiers it skews the data.

I don’t know if likening being fat is then right thing to say, more like I enjoy the consequences of my overindulgence? I feel euphoria when eating and especially when I overeat/stuff. I take great solace in food

For the most part yeah. Only limitations are mainly size wise. Like finding clothes that fit. Traveling, depending on your size you may need to spend a bit more. Or doing things that require being light, like say ziplining. Everything else is just getting use to the bulk and or the amount of food youd be eating to satisfy your hunger as you grow.

Ok, I understand. In my case I don't do any of that. My lifestyle is based on playing video games and watching series. I rarely leave the house. Only when necessary.
So with my lifestyle I wouldn't have any problem being obese? In fact, perhaps being obese would be more in line with this lifestyle and perhaps I would enjoy it even more? What do you think?
