When I feel like I'm clicking with someone and genuinely enjoy the conversation I can definitely feel the dopamine hit when they text me! My inbox looks insane though (as it's probably true for every woman here). So usually a new message notification is very overwhelming for me. Admittedly that's one reason I take my time to respond to people which is a bit cruel on my part but I'm horrible at deviding attention (I'm so sorry, I'm working on it...🫣). I try to reply to everyone who took the time to message me but sometimes I just need a break. That said, I met a few wonderful people on here which I consider friends now and those people will always get me excited and happy when they message me.

I usually get a dopamine rush in my purse. If I get a message out of nowhere, it's usually somebody trying to sell some great onlyfans membership or get lunch financed.

Cold online world

The strange thing about dating apps (or similar forums) are that the female users are often getting so many messages they can't answer them all. On the other hand the guys are lucky if 1 out of every 10 messages are anwsered.
And that is regardless of how much time and effort they have used to write it.
I don't blame anyone. It is just how it is. Overwhelming and stressful for the female users and fustrating for almost everyone else...
