Lycanroc Dusk Form is a pure-Rock type and has the ability Tough Claws (boosting the power of contact moves), and also has both Accelrock and Counter which the other two Lycanroc had. However it seems to be an event Pokemon - you'll only be able to get it by downloading a special Rockruff which will be given out when Ultra Sun & Moon are released. The distribution will run from November 17th 2017 through to January 10th 2018

It seems it's a bit like Ash-Greninja - in the anime Tapu Lele drains energy from Ash and the other two Lycanrocs and gives the energy to Ash's Rockruff causing it's evolution.

I'm hoping it'll come with attacks like Fire Fang and Thunder Fang or Sucker Punch since Tough Claws benefits those, but you can only get those by breeding them onto Rockruff... which you won't be able to do with this one.

I'm not 100% certain, but so far unique special event Pokemon can't be bred, no. Ash-Greninja (Greninja with the Battle Bond ability) can't breed, or Pokemon from previous games such as Cosplay Pikachu. The anime makes it seem like a one-of-a-kind situation.

Assuming it has the same learnset as the other Lycanroc's, the only relevant moves that Tough Claws will boost are Accelerock, Crunch and Brick Break, which will all be 30% stronger on it. Having stronger Fire and Electric coverage from a boosted Fire/Thunder Fang would have been great though (84.5 base power compared to 65), along with a more powerful priority Sucker Punch (91 power compared to 70).

That said, they did previously release a normal Midnight Lycanroc that already had Fire Fang and Sucker Punch on it, so here's to hoping.

(Edit: I was right about hoping they'd release the event Rockruff with the egg moves already on it, the Ultra Sun Rockruff comes with Fire Fang and the Ultra Moon Rockruff comes with Thunder Fang. No Sucker Punch though)

Three new vids of stuff today including Kommo-o having an exclusive Z-move - Clangorous Soulblaze, which also boosts all of its stats by one stage after attacking with it.

There's also a new Alola Photo Club mode, where you can take photos with your Pokemon with various poses including Z-Move Poses, and then edit them with decorations, lenses and more.

New video today... it's been confirmed that the Pokemon on the cover of Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon are new Necrozma forms, the result of Necrozma absorbing Solgaleo or Lunala. They are Necrozma Dusk Mane & Necrozma Dawn Wings, and they also still retain Solgaleo's Sunsteel Strike and Lunala's Moongeist Beam, respectively.





Lycanroc has a new Z-Move - Splintered Stormshards. Lycanroc needs Stone Edge and the Lycanium-Z to use this move, and it eliminates terrain effects such as Electric Terrain when used.



The new Dusk Lycanroc can only evolve from Rockruff that have the ability Own Tempo, which will only be available from the release event. These Rockruff can only evolve into Dusk Form between 5pm/17:00 and 5:59pm/17:59 at Level 25.

Furthermore, the event Rockruff will differ depending on the version that you download it on. Both Rockruff are Lv10, are holding a Focus Band, and will have Tackle and Bite and the special move Happy Hour (doubles the amount of prize money earned at the end of battle, stacks with Amulet Coin/etc) - but the Rockruff you get in Ultra Sun will know Fire Fang and the one you get in Ultra Moon will know Thunder Fang. They both benefit from Dusk Lycanroc's Tough Claws making them 30% stronger (84.5 base power compared to 65). It's unlikely that it's breedable so choose the one you want carefully.



Lastly, two new Ultra Beasts have been revealed! They are codenamed UB - Burst and UB - Assembly.


Burst is exclusive to Pokemon Ultra Sun. It's thought to be part Fire, Ghost or Dark type since it's signature move in the video was super-effective against Metagross and Decidueye. It's head seems to be based off an exploding firework given its name.


Assembly is exclusive to Pokemon Ultra Moon. It's a massive, hollow Pokemon that towers over people. It's inside walls are also covered in eyes while its exterior keeps shifting to show eyes here and there.

The classic Pokemon Gold & Silver games have been re-released on the 3DS Virtual Console - buying one of these will give you a code allowing you to download the mythical Johto Pokemon Celebi for your Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon game.

UB Burst is Fire/Ghost with a new move, Mind Blown.

There's also a new team called Ultra Recon Squad who dwell in an area in Ultra Space called Ultra Megalopolis. There are also various other areas to explore in Ultra Space.

Ultra Recon Squad's team members are Dulse, Zossie, Soliera, and Phyco with their appearances varying depending on the game: Dulse & Zossie in Ultra Sun and Soliera and Phyco in Ultra Moon.


Necrozma stole the light from their world and they appear to use UB Adhesive in battle.
