I'm still on the smaller side (220 but a fair bit of that is muscle so not much of my weight is in my belly) but now that I'm actively gaining weight it's the little things that stand out to me the most. Like I have to work a lot harder to reach down to grab something, and my center of mass has changed so I've had to change the way I stand up from sitting on the floor. Also this is hard to describe but just the act of taking up more space is a really weird feeling. Like I've gained weight before when I was putting on muscle, but muscle is much denser than fat so even though I was heavier I wasn't really that much bigger. But now after putting on 25 lbs of fat since the beginning of this year, there's a weird disconnect between how much space my brain thinks I take up versus how much I actually take up.
