"soft girl"

Munchies:
You mean like a type A kinda person?

JN_TumLover56:
Ahh… sure you can say that. It’s like when I am saying a “softie” I’m trying to say as to describe someone who is humble and kind or even down to earth. Instead of someone who’s very uptight to a point where they come off as a rough person.

I’m essentially saying something similar to what you said earlier but saying it in my own way y’know?

Munchies:
I see.

Yeah, no the soft girl doesn't exclude those kinds of women.

It should. The lifestyle champions being gentle, delicate, and carefree. But having interacted with a great many of the soft girl girlies, I can confirm most of them are mean.

Like ... meaner than me by a significant margin.

JN_TumLover56:
Seems like I can’t win no matter how much I try to counter you, even if I may have a point. Anyways I’m going to head out to touch grass now. Highly recommend! 💯

In this weather????

I think the fuck not!

But in all seriousness, I am very confused as to this whole "I gotta win against Munchies" thing you've got going on. I'm not trying to "win" an argument with you. I wasn't even aware we were having a fight.

From my perspective, this has been a case of me explaining something I know a lot about to someone who has a passing understanding. I feel like you have some kind of beef with me, but it's very one-sided.

Like, what are we doing here? I have no quarrel with you. The list of people I have actual beef with is very short, and you aren't even on the list.

Ha ha! Well I am Canadian so it doesn’t bother me as much. 😜

All jokes aside thought, I think everyone knows when someone tells them to “touch grass” as in a way to get off the internet and devices and experience the outside world… maybe talk to someone IRL. There’s more to life outside of our devices than it is on the inside. Self-improvement people have preached about this. Heck, I have seen you tell other users to touch grass. You should know that.

Now I respect you and your advice and opinions. But recently it seems like you just haven’t been giving me a break from some of the recent forum discussions. It’s almost like you don’t want people to have a different opinion even if it’s something quite similar to yours.

To save this particular forum discussion from being chaotic, I’ll have to write you a note when I can.

Yeah, no. That's not even close to what I'm doing.

Denial huh? That’s usually how it starts with most problems.

I already told you what I'm doing and why. I've told you before that if I was picking on you, it would be a lot more personal and mean. You can scroll through the forums and see what it's like when I am going after someone - usually Nazis, racists, and other flavors of bigots.

I'm not doing that to you. I've never done that to you. You haven't done anything that has warranted that response from me.

"soft girl"

AskDrFeeder:
Been reading about the "soft girl" trend. I know it's not "soft" in the sense that fat bodies are soft, but I wonder if there's any overlap between soft girls and feedees. Anyone?

Munchies:
For those not in the know, the "soft girl" trend is a Gen Z lifestyle/aesthetic that is a response to and rejection of the girl boss lifestyle/aesthetic.

While the girl boss is all about being cool, dominant, and self-sufficient, the soft girl is cute, preppy, and pampered. The idea behind being a soft girl is that life sucks, so it's best to find someone to take care of you instead.

To answer the OP's question, I will say that some feedees certainly ascribe to the soft life, either in whole or in part. But that has less to do with being a feedee and more to do with traditional gender roles.

I think I would kinda consider myself as so. But I am pretty much fine on my own terms. 😅

Sounds more like you like being pampered.

The soft girl believes in "the divine feminine". Which is essentially embodying all of the stereotypical "feminine" traits. They look for "provider men" who will take care of all their needs and give them a pampered life. In exchange, the soft girl will look beautiful for him and love him.

Some also agree to take care of the kids while others would rather hire a nanny.

The idealized lifestyle for a soft girl would be that of a wealthy man's spoiled housewife.

Oh sorry about that. Forget that I said anything.

Girl, you ain't got nothing to apologize for.

I only know about this because I spend a lot of time in intersectional feminist spaces and deal with these people all the damn time.

I'm not going to say they are all mean POS, because they are not. Some of them are lovely. However, while I can understand where they are coming from, I can't condone it. It's a bad deal for everyone involved.

The aesthetic is cute tho. Love that for them.
