I was with you until the fifth sentence. And then it went downhill from here.

There's a thing called time and place. This has been explained to you before by many people.

And the fact that you cannot tell the different between Libertarian and Liberal is actually hilarious. No, I will not be explaining further.


I'm not sure how to engage with that. Do you think wanting to debate is unreasonable? Do you think that people generally dont suffer from cognitive dishonest? It would be useful if you were to point out what is wrong with what i said.

Time & place i think is not the problem here. Its that often people don’t like to be called out when they're wrong.

I also choosed liberal because im aware of its atomizing logic. Im not sure libertarian ideology has that in the same degree. There is nothing hilarous about that, i dont know why you find it as such.

This is a place for discussion, among other things, specialized for and friendly towards feedism. That does not exlude debating worldviews, since you put it like that.

Each person has a theory. And how they subjectivise (how they personally choose to "read".) and then describe their experiences matters a lot. Thats just to point out the relevance of what i like to talk about, with peoples' experiences. Im really interested in these theories / philosophies.

I dont know if you suffer from that, id need to have a conversation about controversial topics with you, to find out.

I think its not okay to let these happen. I dont disagree with you here. I even think you're right to be dogmatic about certain opinions. (For example, harassment of women - it should never be allowed to happen) I think we would disagree for example on what is bigotry if we were to go in detail about it,and how it should be handled. That would be an interesting conversation to have!

So you accept that it’s unacceptable for women to be harassed, good. My contention is that it is different but not dissimilar to someone being discriminated against, thus it to being bigoted is an unacceptable behavior do you follow?

I don’t think someone needs justify themselves when they feel they are being discriminated against just like a woman feeling harassed doesn’t need to justify their belief it’s what they feel. Does that make sense?

One thing I appreciate is how the community has improved how it looks out for each other.

3 years ago, when I first came to the community, toxic people ran mostly unchecked. But these days, there are a lot of really nice people who stand up to defend people.

I am loving the how people keep showing up for people with kind words of encouragement, or defending people from creeps and bullies.

Calling out bigots and hate, correcting people when they could be endangering themselves or others, and stressing on matters of consent are all good things and if you disagree with them that’s on you. To my understanding you’ve never done any of those things so I don’t understand where you’re coming from.


In all honesty, I just want to do and say the right thing. Even if nobody appreciates me anymore I still want to have valid opinions and have my place in a community like this.

I mean, I was raised to keep my mouth shut unless I have something positive to contribute and know what I am talking about. This just happens to be within my wheel of expertise.

I was also raised to never post something online unless I would say it to someone's face and stand by it no matter what.

And lastly, my takes are very milquetoast. Respect people, do no harm, consent is important... These are the least spicy takes anyone can have.

I have a serious question. This is not me trying to hate. I just want to understand.

What is with the woe is me thing you have going on? This is an ongoing thing I've noticed from you for a few years now. People don't hate you, but you routinely talk about how you are not liked or wanted.

What's happening here? Are you doing okay? Is everything fine at home?

Of course! I would never want to go on my way to actually harm anybody. I’m not that much of an asshole as people think of me.

I at least try to post/text something in the same way as I would whenever I am speaking to someone or talking in a video. I think we all know that only a coward hides behind a screen and random profile pictures to talk shit online to somebody (even in the comments section).

But either way, I still very much appreciate the community that we have.
