Fair enough. Thank you for responding with something other than conjecture. I’ll state the question again:

“Anybody have an ex who was (or wasn’t) into feedism and ended up getting huge after the breakup?”

Same as when I posted it initially. The implied or inferred question being…has this happened to anyone else? I was never sure if my ex was into feedism but she sure seems like she is now.

Things just went from 0 to 100 real quick with people assuming there was some kind of coercion involved. I don’t feel the need to break down every fine point of my situation because A) I’m not obligated to when the first remark is pithy and seemingly “anti-ex” or something and B ) I honestly felt like it was a straightforward question.


I was not aware of the rabid, finger-pointing nature in the forums. I’m hoping it just a couple of bad eggs but jeez. Being called “r*pey” or “toxic” is well within bounds for defense when nothing I said alluded to that at all.

Again, this is pretty common question in feedism circles online and for some reason it’s uh…well I don't even know what it is here. Seems like FF is being held hostage by a bunch of ill-intended bullies who are looking for something to shit on.

ALSO again I attempted this in good faith. So much for that.

Why do you guys immediately jump to concluding that I want other people’s stories or dirty details? I don’t. It was (what I thought) just a question of generality.

I guess topics having to do with exes is too triggering because there is a lot of projection that I have nothing to do with coming my way. I’m merely interested in anything that may have to do with what I’m dealing with. No ill will. No fishing. Certainly no “trolling”. Just a typical question that has snowballed into a shit show for some reason.

Like c’mon guys. This is bizarre.

A bit of advice. If you aren't prepared for people to ask you why you are asking a question, don't ask it at all.

And I would like to point out that multiple people have DM’d me saying to take your input with a grain of salt because you yourself have a reputation for being toxic af. I even messaged you trying figure out what transgression I made because apparently some of you have a rulebook that only you guys know about. I came to you in good faith trying to figure out what’s going on and yet you jumped in again after leaving it on what I thought was amicable terms.

Again I thought my post was pretty harmless. Maybe you should be prepared for people to defend themselves if an infraction is less obvious than it is to you high and mighty omni-fucking-prescent gatekeepers. So maybe you shouldn’t be saying anything.

I agree. I shouldn’t have replied to that first comment with any snark (though it was still good natured at the time). Wasn’t four or five comments in before the accusations started flying and I was being accused of “wrong think”.

Sad to see FF devolve like every other sludge pit involving feedism online. I wash my hands of this and regret ever taking part.
