Fat experiences

Things you notice as you get fatter

I feel my fat folds form my boobs to my belly hang & B belly. Get more hot & sweaty when I set down for too long, the fatter I get.

My belly hang will sweat & rub regardless if I stand, walk or set down.

As well as feeling of my thighs left up my belly hang the more I lift my legs up.

Getting harder to getting winded going up a hill or stairs but that a good price to pay to see more of my belly when I look down.

It’s also fun to feel my belly & boobs jiggling more in my stretchy close fitting clothes as I walk or in a bumpy ride.

Definitely looking forward to getting a belly apron & discovering the new physical changes that will bring.

Things you notice as you get fatter

When I was hard core gaining, I noticed:

- My appetite and capacity continually growing
- increasing difficulty touching my belly button
- Fitting differently behind the wheel of my car, until I ultimately outgrew it and had to move up to a van.
- Needing to set the thermostat progressively lower because my fat was keeping me warm.
- Finding it harder to navigate bathroom stalls until I eventually got too fat for the ones that aren't designed for accessibility.
- Others no longer noticing big gains (because 500 doesn't look much different than 470)

Since I've been skinny my whole life a lot of things still surprise me. I don't know if there's a better way to describe it but I'm simply not used to my own body being in my way when I move. Right now it especially noticable when I reach down to grab things and especially when I tie my shoes. Like I'm not to the point where it's difficult or anything I just have to reach slightly more than I'm used to. I can only imagine what it'll be like when I'm 100+ lbs heavier

The rolls under my arm getting thick enough that my arms rest at a wider angle. And then those rolls joining on my back. And then those rolls growing another roll beneath them...

Getting fat makes you understand why the Fat CJ character model from San Andreas held his arms goofy. This is so true you can’t hold your arms in normally, literaly blocked by rolls haha

StuffMuffin:
Way harder to get bras on and off

Without being graphic, harder time reaching certain areas

More aches and pain with certain movements (currently dealing with HELLA back pain from moving/packing recently)

Crop tops almost immediately ride up on me,so I can’t where most in public

Out of breath from small tasks

When I went to a thrift store to find jeans that fit, I found I was actually getting sweaty just from trying on the pants! At least I'm not getting out of breath yet, but be a weird feeling...

Same here! After "just" a 20 lbs (might be more by now, as I've been avoiding the scale for the last few weeks), I find it's harder to get my Dr Martens boots tied up without sitting. I'm getting a bit out of balance and find it very unsettling.

My thighs were already large to being with, even at a much lower weight, because I've been obese for most of my adult life and my skin seems irremediably stretched.

My legs are already almost as large as the were when I was obese (I know because I've had to measure my calves to buy compression socks), so I hope the fat will stop accumulating there soon otherwise I'll be even more bottom heavy than at my highest weight and I don't know if I'll be able to find pants.

It was already really hard to find any in the past because my waist was much smaller than my legs.

Yeah pants are always annoying to find. Even when I was still skinny I had disproportionately bigger thighs than my waist so whenever I'd find pants that fit my thighs they'd be too big for my waist and even with a belt they looked all bunches up. Ironically since I've started intentionally gaining weight my pants have fit me better because my waist is starting to fill in more. All I can say is just keep searching around until you find the perfect brand that actually makes pants that fit you
