I used to watch morning cartoons eating bkfast/getting ready before school. There was an old-timey episode where Goofy sees his "fat" reflection in the mirror, decides he will lose weight, but then just can't stop himself from overeating while his own reflection teases him. I don't remember necessarily being aroused by it so much as just definitely remembering it, being very interested in watching that in another person. You can google Goofy "Tomorrow We Diet":

To be honest not really sure but cartoons semmed to be a huge factor. It's interesting how every cartoon has an episode where one manages to get fat or stuffing themselves to a point they can't get up...
