That I did. I was hoping for Fire/Dark, but... *sighs*
Someone made an interesting note about the Fire/Fighting Pig starter; since it was planned to be bulky and it looks like the programmers wanted it to be able to take Super Effective hits on a video... perhaps the Fighting type was slapped on begrudgingly to deal with the Stealth Rock problem. Ground and Steel are the only others that resist it. And unlike the other two combos, Fire/Fighting doesn't give any 4x weaknesses(Water and Ground for the others, respectively). Something interesting to think about, perhaps.
It would have been nice to give nice new types to the Grass and Water starters though, since it's not looking like they have that defensive focus that the Fire starter does. More STAB coverage for them would have been nice.
If they make the bulkiness actually work on the Fire starter though, that would screw over Blaziken again because we already have Infernape for going all out, and with 'Ganonpork' taking on the more bulky/survivable role... yeah.
