Roll call! any other autistic feedist in the house?

MickRidem:
Not Autistic, but trauma-based spectrum here. I was tested and have half of the spectrum behaviors, mostly routine and sensory based.

Munchies:
What is trauma-based spectrum? How is that different from PTSD? I'm curious as someone with autism and PTSD.

MickRidem:
I have PTSD, and OCD...

Not sure if this is a clear description, maybe it helps a little?

Munchies:
Learning things.

I wish you well on your healing journey.

MickRidem:
Thank you! Knowing what I can work on to improve, and what I need to deal with that isn't changing, helps immensely.

Rooting for you! 👍🏿

Yeah, autism, anger issues, and Tourettes'. (Always shouting out and saying things that seem obscene or out of place.)

I might. Ever since I have found out I have bipolar, it kind of muddied the waters for me.

A year on my medication I still have minor outbursts with irritability, but never the same level of what a manic episode would bring me. I think I stim and I know I struggle to put ideas into words.

I’m on the spectrum, bipolar hypomanic/depression, OCPD, GAD. I understand that bipolar and autism often overlap. It’s hard to tell the difference between an autistic meltdown and bipolar temper tantrum if someone doesn’t know the difference.

Yup! Diagnosed with autism and ADHD since I was little.

And definitely into feederism, especially mutual stuffing!

I was diagnosed with ADHD only a couple years ago and I should really look at being evaluated for autism, because the more I look into how to support my ADHD, the more I suspect there's a little more to what I have going on than that.
